Basically a young kid who wasn’t good enough to make the grade then cries about it and says he was harshly treated.

No one owes you a living son, you got further than a lot of people now man the fuck up and stop blaming others, you are not owed a living.

What happened to that other kid who's dad posts on here?

Re: West Ham United and the Treatment of Kieran Bywater
There are thousands upon thousands of kids who get let go at football clubs.

Back in the day, the lads who were at clubs, when they were let go, they moped for a bit, and got a job like the rest of us. Society don't seem to want to work like that anymore.

If the lad was good enough, he'd have made it. Declan Rice got bombed out of Chelsea after being there since he was knee high to a grasshopper, dusted himself off, had another go, and made it because he was good enough.

24 now, signed for Doncaster in December. Seems like he'll have a decent enough lower league career, and good luck to him.

Think saw reference to this before. It was an example of clubs who need to do more support for players who are released ; to help them and give them tips and thus avoid players suffering with mental health issues.

Didn't his dad imply he was "unceremoniously dumped" when the boy decided to get a new agent? He then went on to play for the illustrious Chattanooga f.c in the fourth tier of the American League.

I think that's probably what parents should be there for, Pedro.

Everyone knows what happens in football. Some kids make it, some don't. I know shed loads who got bombed out of clubs, they dusted themselves off and joined the real world.

Something like only 0.012% of youth players at clubs go on to play premier League football. But then every dad just knows that THEIR kid is going to make it.

What terrible things have the club done to this poor upset fuck?

"So.you thinking you might be getting 50k plus a week for the next 15 years.?"

"Don't count your chickens you young somewhat talented fuckwits. Chances are you are at best non league £300 a week non entities. And if you play in midfield.you might as well give up now cos midfield tends to be bypassed in the level that you will probably find yourself in 5 years time."

Simple facts early on will.make sure they don't get ahead of themselves.

Correct but you didn't mention his name was Kieran Sadlier.

I read an article about Man City and how far they are ahead with the treatment of their kids. All get a private education and that continues even if they're given the elbow and then continuous support in finding another club, a different career path etc. Wayne Rooney stated that it was because of the 'aftercare' that he sent his son to City instead of United.

Fair play to the richest club on the planet.

I think the point is it would probably take about 10 days of Hernandez wages to set that up at a club like ours. There’s so much dough in football it’s not that hard to pay for a decent education. My pals boy is 10 and plays for Arsenal he probably does more hours than those cunts working on the tube it’s almost like a full time job and he’s 10, I can’t imagine it’s that easy to go to a normal school and put the time into becoming a pro. I don’t think you need to be the richest club in the world to properly look after the young men you entrusted to develop you just need to have a bit of foresight and class. Something sadly we’ll never have with our owners

Wouldn't want millionaire Wayne Rooney's son ending up doing labouring jobs around Toxteth.
